WALK-IN

Project Walk-In deals with the problems of closet rooms and their storage systems. Concept is based on exploring the historical development of clothing storage as well as an overview of current trends and technological possibilities with regard to changing users’ needs. With an emphasis on ergonomics and functionality, this custom-made wardrobe system has been created to fill the imaginary market niche and to appeal especially to more demanding clients with its high quality of processing an almost endless variety of materials and colors.

The aim of this work was also complete realization of Walk-In showroom, representing several options how to apply this variable storage system in practice to serve the needs of a particular client, when designing spacious closet rooms in residential interiors. For the sample assemblies of systems were used combinations of solid walnut wood with anthracite and white color with anodized aluminum. First-class materials were complemented by profile systems from Häfele, folding doors by the HAWA and lights from Artemide.
